About The Position

Reporting to the Sr. Director Strategic Sales, this role is a key sales position responsible for creating new growth opportunities through alternative channels, niche markets, consultants, and key end user relationships. This position is critical for expanding Hoshizaki’s presence in the ice machine and refrigeration markets by driving new account growth, building strategic relationships, and collaborating across sales channels. Success in this role directly impacts revenue growth and strengthens Hoshizaki’s strategic customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years in roles within the food service industry, including at least Director-level responsibility.
  • Experience with strategic accounts is preferred, including chains, institutions, and consultants.
  • Experience with institutional customers such as medical or healthcare accounts is preferred.
  • Proven success with multi-channel sales strategies and collaboration across regional sales teams.
  • Familiarity with national chain account management and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong analytic capability with advanced proficiency in data analytics and CRM tools to navigate strategy, results, and pipeline management.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate sound judgment in decision-making and a solutions mindset for complex business situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal positively with conflict.
  • Efficient and effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels and across all functions of Hoshizaki, representing the enterprise effectively with customers and strategic partner organizations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Can work remotely.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic customers, channels, and influencers to expand Hoshizaki’s presence in the ice machine and refrigeration markets.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with national accounts, chains, government entities, and food service consultants to drive account growth and market penetration.
  • Identify and develop new strategic avenues, including creating channels for institutional customers such as medical and healthcare sectors.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales teams to drive sales through traditional distributor and dealer channels and identify synergistic opportunities across respective customers and channels.
  • Demonstrate strong compliance, professionalism, and alignment of words and actions with corporate values and principles, ensuring Hoshizaki’s reputation is upheld.

  • New Account Growth via new national chains and collaboration with RSD’s/ASM’s for regional chain wins
  • CE Engagement – sales activity to document sales pipeline and collaboration activities across sales channels
