About The Position

ServiceLink, a top provider in the mortgage services industry, is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Valuations Vendor Management. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, a self-motivated and organized approach, and the ability to provide strategic input to drive performance and growth. The successful candidate will oversee team productivity, employee management, technology projects, and initiatives to improve the Valuations fulfillment process. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of vendor management experience
  • Knowledge of Valuations, Real Estate and/or mortgage servicing processes, procedures and technology
  • The ability to maintain a positive and professional business relationship with vendors and internal staff
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, especially the ability to work in multiple systems at once
  • Strong customer service, communication and writing skills
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Exceptional customer service, communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, using collaboration and communication tools to stay connected with team members and management
  • Capability to plan, track and deliver work products on schedule while maintaining a high level of quality of productivity
  • Excellent analytical skills, including advanced spreadsheet analysis skills
  • Effective in a fast paced and collaborative environment
  • Self-starter and self-motivated

Responsibilities

  • Manage Vendor relationships to create and maintain positive, productive, and professional interactions
  • Monitor market capacity to ensure there is adequate coverage to meet client Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Recruit new vendors to assist in building panel depth within strategic locations
  • Proactively monitor pipeline and status of all vendors in the onboarding process
  • Negotiate potential contract terms with new vendors
  • Conduct regular coaching and counseling of vendors to ensure they are meeting ServiceLink standards
  • Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive vendor training programs to ensure compliance, service quality and alignment with organizational standards
  • Manage vendor marketing campaigns and engagement
  • Influence prospective vendors to submit applications, including outreach at recruitment events and industry conferences, with periodic travel required
  • Develop recruitment strategies aimed at reducing cost while improving quality
  • Create and manage vendor engagement projects, including a partnership with marketing to send proactive panel notifications
  • Provide timely updates and reporting to Valuations management on projects and ongoing efforts
  • Support vendor operations by strengthening vendor relationships and deliver coaching to support performance and compliance
  • Analyze panel performance to identify gaps and growth opportunities, developing targeted plans for expansion
  • Strategically recruit and expand the vendor network to ensure adequate coverage for client order fulfillment and optimize cost efficiency
  • Monitor market capacity and direct strategies to ensure coverage to support current and future volume
  • Responsible for ensuring depth in panel, overall positive vendor experience and efficient communication between Operations and vendor panel
  • Track and obtain expired vendor documentation to maintain eligibility and prevent service disruption
  • Resolve complex or escalated concerns with panel members; ensure appropriate escalation paths are followed
  • Create and maintain SOP’s and workflow related to Panel Health and Engagement
  • Partner with management to ensure all client needs are being addressed and positioned for future growth
  • Maintain compliance with industry & client regulations and requirements
  • All other duties as assigned
