About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically driven Vendor Business Analyst / Vendor Specialist to support the performance and growth of our vendor portfolio. In this role, you’ll take ownership of monitoring profit and loss (P&L), forecasting demand, optimizing inventory, and strengthening vendor relationships. You will play a key role in identifying market trends, uncovering growth opportunities, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive business outcomes. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to develop financial acumen, build strategic partnerships, and make a measurable impact within a global technology distributor. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, vendor management, sales support, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams and stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, or inventory management
  • Exposure to vendor or partner relationship management within distribution or technology environments

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the profit and loss (P&L) performance for assigned vendor lines, identifying opportunities to improve profitability
  • Support achievement of monthly revenue, Net GM%, and Net GM$ targets
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales and inventory forecasts to optimize product availability and reduce risk
  • Analyze inventory trends and partner with internal teams to ensure alignment with demand planning
  • Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with vendor partners
  • Communicate effectively to align on strategies, negotiate terms, and resolve issues
  • Serve as an operational escalation point, ensuring timely resolution of challenges
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and business data to identify growth opportunities
  • Create clear, actionable reports and presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Conduct research to support strategic decision-making and vendor planning
  • Partner with sales, operations, and marketing teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Support customer inquiries, pricing discussions, and vendor-related negotiations
  • Proactively identify and address operational bottlenecks to improve business performance
