Vending Driver - Yellowstone National Park
About The Position

By working at Yellowstone National Park, you will get all three! As a Vending Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the park running smoothly. This role involves the safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles while ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of vending machines along a designated route. Responsibilities include restocking vending machines, recording transactions, and reporting any issues to the Vending Manager. Additionally, the position requires providing professional service to park visitors and employees.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Basic Accounting skills
- Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to manage and control inventory
- General knowledge of Yellowstone Park
- DOT physical and certification required
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting and reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to 5 hours per shift
- Requires occasional climbing, crawling and squatting/kneeling. Could total up to two and one half hours per day
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
- Must be able to push or pull items weighing up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis
Responsibilities
- The safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper working order of vending machines and company vehicle for specific route assigned. Report problems to the Vending Manager
- Place product in vending machine as warranted
- Collect receipts from vending machines where product is added, record those transactions and turn receipts into Mammoth cashiers office
- Restock vending truck from warehouse when product is depleted, record transactions on warehouse issue sheet and help clean and organize warehouse
- Provide professional and courteous service to Park visitors and employees
