About The Position

Admiral Beverage is seeking a Vending Driver/Driver Check-In/Cashier for the Vernal, UT area. This role involves delivering products to vending accounts, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining vendor cleanliness. The position also includes driver check-in duties, such as collecting and accounting for daily cash receipts, reconciling invoices, and preparing reports. Admiral Beverage is a growing company with a strong presence in the Mountain-West states, producing and distributing a wide range of beverages.

Requirements

Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds unassisted.
Candidates must demonstrate an ability to resolve conflict, build customer relationships, and be able to work independently.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to operate a computerized inventory and invoicing system.
Must be able to wear and utilize appropriate safety equipment.
Must wear Company provided uniform and present a professional image to customers and the work place.

Nice To Haves

Experience in delivery driving.

Responsibilities

Deliver products to vending accounts in retail food stores, wholesale stores, restaurants, hotels and other customers.
Deliver product in a professional and timely manner to customers while providing excellent customer service.
Resolve conflict and build customer relationships.
Work independently.
Lift at least 70 pounds unassisted.
Drive truck to deliver beverage product to customer's place of business in highway, rural and city street conditions in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Works without direct supervision, effectively resolves customer complaints and presents effective sales presentations.
Places stock on shelves or racks and ensures vendors are clean, properly labeled and fresh.
Informs regular customers of new products or services.
Collects or picks up empty containers and rejected or unsold merchandise.
Operates computerized inventory and invoicing system.
Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery.
Prepares and maintains current reports of business transactions.
Promotes and cultivates good customer relationships through professional, courteous, and quality service.
Collects money from vendors and balances truck inventory and cash collected.
Keeps assigned company vehicle clean and performs daily inspection and routine fluid, air, and oil maintenance and record keeping procedures.
Wears and utilizes appropriate safety equipment.
Wears Company provided uniform and presents a professional image to customers and the work place.
Conducts daily closeout collection and basic accounting procedures with route sales representatives.
Takes orders for product and performs accounting support functions.
Receives, counts, documents and deposits cash from daily route receipts.
Fills out necessary bank deposit documentation.
Closes out daily routes and creates required reports.
Reconciles invoices with daily cash receipts by correcting errors, collecting shortages or paying overages to drivers.
Records amounts received and prepares reports of transactions.
Secure all monies into safe after tying and tagging each bag.
Accounts for all load sheets, invoices and cash receipts on a daily basis.
