About The Position
We are looking for SAFE drivers to join our team driving BRAND NEW Ford vehicles from the plant in Chicago, IL to rail-yards. This is a Weekends Only position, requiring work on both Saturday and Sunday. Shifts begin at 6 AM in Markham, Illinois, and the end time is not designated, with shifts lasting anywhere between 8-11 hours, potentially up to 12 hours.
Requirements
- Clean motor vehicle history
- Minimum age of 21
- Reliable transportation to and from Hammond each day
- Must be a reliable and safe driver with a positive attitude and good work ethic
- Must be able to work and drive in all weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a background check
- No DUI's, OWI's
- No drug or alcohol convictions in the last 10 years
- Clean and VALID drivers license for the last 3 years
- Less than 3 points on MVR, no accidents, and no suspensions in the last 3 years
Responsibilities
- Locating and inspecting vehicles
- Documenting damages to vehicles
- Driving vehicles safely to rail yards
