About The Position

EDS Service Solutions partners with car rental companies across the United States, providing back-end operations to support exceptional customer experiences. The Vehicle Transporter safely moves vehicles within and around the RDU Airport, delivering them to service areas and arranging them on the vehicle lot. The position is located near RDU Airport and pays $14 per hour, with weekly pay. AM and PM shifts are available, and weekend availability is required.

Requirements

Have a valid U.S. driver's license.
Be at least 21 years old.
Have a clean driving record for the past three years.
Be able to work in inclement weather.
Be able to handle the physical workload, including getting in and out of vehicles safely.
Be able to drive for shifts of up to eight hours.
Be able to walk, stand, and bend for shifts of up to eight hours.
Be available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

Safely transport vehicles within the airport to various service areas.
Drive and deliver vehicles locally or outside the area as needed, following all rules of the road.
Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicles or pick up multiple vehicles.
Follow company safety policies and procedures.
Assist with receiving new vehicles and move and arrange vehicles to optimize space and keep the vehicle lot orderly.
Park vehicles in assigned areas, check them for damage, and list and store keys.
Communicate via cellular phone when needed.
Maintain courteous and professional behavior and appearance.
