Requirements

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Experience operating a truck and trailer
Ability to safely maneuver and back a vehicle with a trailer
Excellent attention to detail
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and follow instructions
Strong communication skills
Professional and positive attitude
Ability to safely enter and exit vehicles and perform vehicle loading and securement duties
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to accommodate occasional schedule changes based on transportation needs
Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and driving-record review

Nice To Haves

Experience loading, securing, and transporting vehicles preferred

Responsibilities

Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to and from dealerships, customers, vendors, service facilities, and other designated locations
Operate company-owned trucks and single-vehicle auto transport trailers
Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles in accordance with company procedures and applicable safety requirements
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of transport vehicles, trailers, tie-down equipment, and related equipment
Inspect and document vehicle condition before and after transport
Maintain accurate records of all vehicle transports, including pickup and delivery information
Maintain transport equipment in a clean, organized, and serviceable condition
Immediately report vehicle damage, equipment concerns, accidents, or other transportation-related issues
Coordinate with dealership personnel regarding vehicle pickup and delivery schedules
Maintain all company and applicable transportation safety standards
Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with customers, vendors, and other dealerships
