About The Position

We are looking for a dependable and professional Dealership Driver to assist with transporting vehicles between our dealership locations and delivering vehicles directly to customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, has a flexible schedule, and takes pride in representing our dealership professionally. Drivers will be contacted as transportation needs arise and may make both local and longer-distance trips.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver's license.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Must be a safe, responsible, and courteous driver.
Must be dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled trips.
Must be comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks.
Must be able to follow directions and use GPS/navigation applications.
Must have reliable communication and be reachable by phone when accepting assignments.
Must be able to professionally interact with customers and dealership personnel.

Nice To Haves

Availability for occasional longer-distance trips is preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely transport vehicles between dealership locations.
Deliver purchased or serviced vehicles directly to customers.
Pick up vehicles from customers, dealerships, auctions, vendors, or other designated locations as needed.
Inspect vehicles for obvious damage or concerns before departure and upon arrival.
Maintain communication with dealership personnel regarding pickup, delivery, and estimated arrival times.
Ensure vehicles, keys, paperwork, and other materials are delivered to the appropriate person.
Treat all customer and dealership vehicles with care and respect.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with customers and dealership employees.
Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures while operating dealership or customer vehicles.
Assist with other vehicle transportation needs as requested.
