About The Position

This role involves vehicle testing, specifically focusing on diagnostic testing and feature testing according to provided specifications. The engineer will support the Ford team by explaining issues and failed test cases to the customer. Experience with vehicle-level data logging and in-vehicle data capture systems is required, as is knowledge of the ALM tool chain (JIRA, Confluence). A strong understanding of Generic Global Diagnostics specification (GGSD), CAN-based diagnostics, and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) is essential. Proficiency with Vector Tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe, and Diagnostic Engineering tools, is also necessary. The position requires coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of experience in the Automotive domain.
• Experience in Vehicle testing in terms of Diagnostic testing and any feature testing as per the test specification given.
• Experience in vehicle-level data logging and in-vehicle data capture systems.
• Knowledge in the ALM tool chain e.g., JIRA and confluence.
• Good knowledge on Generic Global Diagnostics specification (GGSD).
• Experience in CAN based diagnostics and Diagnostics Trouble Code (DTCs).
• Experience in Vector Tools CANalyzer, CANoe, Diagnostic Engineering tool.
• Coordination with multiple stakeholder.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the Powertrain is an added advantage.
