About The Position

Waltonen Engineering is looking for a Vehicle Test Engineer to join our team. This role involves engineering analysis and support for military vehicles, including preparing plans with detailed drawings, designing and executing engineering solutions, developing calculations, diagrams, and technical reports, and completing required technical and regulatory documents. The engineer will also be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and presenting analysis results and project solutions to technical leads, senior leaders, and clients.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
At least 3 – 5 years related work experience
Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering presentations
Advanced skills in critical software applications, such as Microsoft Office and CAD
Expertise in data and problem analysis, creative problem solving and design thinking
Only United States Citizens can be considered
Must possess or be able to obtain security clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience in vehicle component and/or systems experience preferred
Specific experience in vehicle and components test engineering
Experience with NX or Creo preferred but not mandatory
Previous experience with defense/military vehicles preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities
