About The Position

Link Engineering Company (LINK) is seeking a talented Test Engineer II to join their team. This role is responsible for validating and testing client components and systems to aid in the development of a high-quality process that meets customer needs. The engineer will support customer jobs including special vehicle tests, durability, NVH, performance, fleet tests, and extreme environment conditions. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related Associate’s Degree with 3 years relevant work experience in an automotive engineering laboratory; equivalent related work experience also acceptable in lieu of education.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in an automotive engineering laboratory.
High School Diploma.
Familiarity with model 4000 modules (analog, temp, pulse, NVH) preferred.
Understanding of vehicle braking systems preferred.
Understanding of load configuration including center of gravity, GAWR’s, GCVM preferred.
Experience working with ERP systems (Epicor preferred).
Proven knowledge of test engineering, including methods, equipment, reporting and analysis.
Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to work well in a Team environment.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong independent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

Technical responsibility for organizing and executing Customer jobs.
Analyze test results and provide engineering reports that meet Customer specifications.
Read and understand test specifications for vehicle testing projects.
Monitor tests in progress to ensure they are running to specification parameters.
Analyze technical matters in the test engineering field to provide solutions to internal Customers.
Use equipment instrumentation for set up and calibration.
Use a Windows based computer system to access relevant test procedures and quality system documents, enter measurement data, store, and retrieve files from the network, etc.
Interaction with Customer to obtain test objectives, testing parameters to provide test results.
Work with the staff to ensure quality testing.
Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
All other related duties as assigned.
