About The Position

In this position, you will serve as the primary link between forecasted sales requirements and actual manufacturing execution. Your mission is to develop precise vehicle and part-level volumes (APW/MPW), identify potential supply chain bottlenecks, and drive cross-functional alignment to ensure seamless vehicle production and successful product launches. You will be at the heart of the company’s manufacturing strategy, directly influencing how we bring vehicles to market. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in capacity planning, supply chain analysis, or manufacturing operations (automotive experience preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and modeling. Ability to translate complex data sets into actionable supply chain strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to drive consensus among diverse stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, and Engineering).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.) and experience with ERP/PLM software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Bill of Materials (BOM) management and product definition logic.
  • Familiarity with APW (Average Production Weekly) and MPW (Maximum Production Weekly) concepts.
  • Knowledge of vehicle launch processes and automotive manufacturing constraints.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain vehicle volumes and market allocations based on Final Program Volume (FPV) data.
  • Conduct comprehensive "Confirm" and "What-If" capacity studies to communicate requirements to the supply base and evaluate the impact of potential volume shifts.
  • Proactively identify commodity constraints and manufacturing gaps. Work cross-functionally to resolve issues that could affect launch timelines or planned production mixes.
  • Manage complex changes in vehicle volumes, feature rates, product definitions, and Bills of Materials (BOM) to eliminate supply risks.
  • Lead consensus meetings with Sales and Marketing teams to align market demand requests with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Analyze and bridge the gap between "Free Demand" and "Funded Supplier Capacity," ensuring supplier investments align with long-term forecasted needs.
