About The Position

Road & Rail Services is hiring Vehicle Shuttle Drivers in Houston, TX, and this could be your opportunity to build a long-term career in the automotive and transportation industry. You don't need a CDL or previous automotive logistics experience to get started. We're looking for dependable people who have a safe driving history, enjoy staying active, and want an opportunity to learn a new industry. A valid driver's license and at least 3 years of driving experience are required. This is more than a driving position. You'll become part of the team responsible for keeping vehicles moving safely and efficiently through a busy automotive operation. For employees who demonstrate reliability, safety, and a strong work ethic, there are opportunities to learn additional responsibilities and grow within the company.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness to work outdoors and remain active throughout the shift
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to safety and vehicle condition
• Willingness to learn new processes and responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Driving vehicles safely between designated areas
• Parking and staging vehicles according to operational instructions
• Checking vehicles for visible damage or concerns
• Following established traffic patterns and safety procedures
• Maintaining accurate vehicle and inventory information
• Communicating issues to supervisors or team leads
• Working with other team members to meet daily production needs
• Keeping assigned work areas clean and organized
• Following all company and customer safety requirements
