About The Position

The Vehicle Pilot Driver (Escort Driver) is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient movement of vehicles and equipment. This role involves preparing sites, assisting with excavations, signaling equipment operators, loading and unloading materials, and supporting other craft workers. The position requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to follow directions and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver License with a clean record.
• At least one year of escort experience.
• Must be able to communicate with others to convey information effectively.
• Must demonstrate attention to details.
• Must be knowledgeable of safety procedures and practices.
• Must be able to follow directions.

Nice To Haves

• Candidates with High School Diploma are strongly preferred.
• Experienced construction employees are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sites, dig trenches, support excavations, and clean up rubble, debris, and waste materials.
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
• Load, unload, and distribute machinery or tools to appropriate locations according to project plans or specifications.
• Assist other craft workers.
• Help flagging truck movements at sites.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
