About The Position

This role involves capturing and processing electronic images of vehicles, ensuring high quality and accuracy for electronic condition reports (ECR). The Vehicle Photographer I will maintain knowledge of the Digital Quality Image (DQI) website, re-image or request re-imaging of substandard images, and process vehicles through the Photo Booth following standard operating procedures if applicable. A strong commitment to safety is expected, demonstrated by following all safety and health procedures and participating in safety activities. This position is based at a specified Cox location and does not offer remote work. The compensation is an hourly base pay rate of $15.10 - $22.69, with potential for additional compensation through commission and/or incentive programs. The role requires safe driving with a valid driver's license.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Generally, less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks, manual dexterity.
  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in photography preferred.
  • Experience in digital and computer processing a plus.
  • Basic computer software skills are preferred.
  • Certification or education in photography a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and process electronic images of vehicles.
  • Upload all pictures associated with electronic condition reports (ECR) and verify the quality and accuracy of each photograph.
  • Maintain knowledge of Digital Quality Image (DQI) website.
  • Re-image or request re-imaging of any substandard images.
  • Process vehicles through the Photo Booth following available standard operating procedures (SOPs) if location is so equipped.
  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
  • Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
