About The Position

Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) is seeking individuals who love to drive and want to make an impact in their community. This is a part-time position with a starting pay of $20.00 per hour, with potential for higher starting pay ($24.60/hour) for experienced drivers with verified transit or passenger transportation experience within the last 10 years. Drivers will operate a new fleet of 35' coaches and 25-passenger cutaways, working approximately 35 to 40+ hours per week. BCRTA offers paid training and a schedule that operates up to 23 hours per day, Monday through Sunday. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored health insurance or other full-time employee benefits.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn to work with technology, like tablets, apps and the interwebs
• Be on time
• Pass a DOT drug screen
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a state and national background check
• Have a clean driving record (less than 4 points)
• Class A or B CDL with passenger endorsement is required
