About The Position

Road & Rail Services is hiring Vehicle Loaders for our Greer automotive operation. In this hands-on position, you will drive newly manufactured vehicles onto railcars and help secure them for transportation. The work involves walking, climbing, entering and exiting vehicles, and spending much of your shift outdoors. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, being outside, and contributing to a team where safety and attention to detail matter.

Requirements

• A current, valid driver's license
• Ability to safely operate and park vehicles
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights of up to 20 feet
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow detailed loading and safety instructions
• Willingness to work independently and as part of a coordinated team

Responsibilities

• Drive newly manufactured vehicles onto railcars
• Position vehicles in the correct location according to loading instructions
• Secure vehicles for safe transportation
• Move vehicles between production, staging, and parking areas
• Enter and exit multiple vehicles throughout the shift
• Climb railcar ladders and work at heights of up to 20 feet
• Inspect vehicle placement and securement before transport
• Follow designated driving routes and traffic patterns
• Communicate with team members during the loading process
• Follow all company, customer, and facility safety procedures
• Report vehicle damage, equipment problems, and unsafe conditions
