About The Position

The Vehicle Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing dealership vehicle inventory operations, ensuring accurate system updates, efficient vehicle movement, and seamless coordination of dealer trades. This role supports day-to-day inventory flow by maintaining accurate records, facilitating vehicle transfers, and supporting lot organization to optimize dealership operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
1–3+ years of experience in dealership operations, inventory coordination, or administrative support
Experience with dealer trades or automotive inventory systems preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and dealership management systems
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Nice To Haves

additional education in Business or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate dealer trades, including communication with partner dealerships and scheduling transfers
Work directly with dealer trade drivers to ensure smooth and timely vehicle transport
Stock in new vehicle inventory, ensuring all vehicles are properly received, recorded, and accounted for
Input and maintain new car invoices in the system with a high level of accuracy
Monitor and maintain accurate vehicle inventory data within internal systems
Assist with lot organization and vehicle movement, ensuring proper placement, accessibility, and presentation of inventory
Support inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies as needed
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, service, and management) to ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory availability
Identify opportunities to improve processes related to inventory tracking and vehicle flow
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
