About The Position

America's Auto Auction (Birmingham) is seeking a Full-Time Vehicle Inspector/Condition Report Writer. This is a growing national auto auction company looking for individuals to prepare detailed condition reports for vehicles. The role involves identifying damage, wear, and discrepancies, ensuring reports meet quality standards, and collaborating with field staff. Accurate and professional reports are crucial for supporting vehicle sales, leasing, and valuation processes. The position requires completing 20 to 30 condition reports per day and performing additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Vehicle inspection or vehicle repair experience is preferred.
Strong written communication skills, including grammar, clarity, and attention to detail.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to accurately interpret inspection data, photographs, and vehicle condition checklists.
Comfortable working with reporting software, digital platforms, and inspection systems.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have a good driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
