About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and operation of the transportation department's vehicle fleet. This includes cleaning, fueling, and performing minor maintenance on vehicles, as well as assisting with inventory and record-keeping. The attendant will ensure vehicles are ready for use and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Nevada driver's license.
Current DMV report (no more than 6 months old).
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
Good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a vehicle attendant or in a similar role.
Experience working in a transportation department or garage environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning of interior and exterior of vehicles.
Fuel vehicles as needed.
Check and maintain fluid levels (oil, coolant, washer fluid).
Perform minor maintenance tasks such as tire pressure checks and light bulb replacement.
Assist with inventory of parts and supplies.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report any mechanical issues or damage to vehicles to the supervisor.
Operate vehicles for cleaning, fueling, or moving purposes.
Assist mechanics and technicians as directed.
Maintain records of fuel, mileage, and maintenance performed.
