A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VEHICLE FLEET & SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC You work alongside a team of mechanics to ensure the uptime of a high-volume fleet across 41 locations. Your workload is a dynamic mix of small engines-like commercial mowers and blowers-and automotive vehicles, including vans and pickup trucks. You'll handle everything from routine maintenance and engine diagnostics to brake repairs and annual safety inspections, ensuring every piece of equipment is field-ready. We've replaced paper logs with efficiency. You will use a tablet equipped with our custom-built asset management software to track inventory, log repairs, and manage incoming service requests. As a professional craftsman, you provide your own primary toolbox to your station, allowing you to work with the gear you know best. Our environment is designed for high-output mechanics who take pride in a clean, organized, and productive workspace. While the pace is fast, you aren't working in a silo. You'll work alongside a team of mechanics and a Fleet Manager to solve complex problems and share technical knowledge.
