Join the Stellantis Technical Safety and Regulatory Compliance Team (TSRC), dedicated to customer satisfaction. This team plays a crucial role in Stellantis's regulatory development, certification, and compliance activities. Stellantis is responsible for self-certifying products to US safety requirements and securing international approvals for vehicles destined for global markets. The Vehicle Homologation Manager / Vehicle Environmental Certification Manager defines and executes homologation activities for US safety self-certification and international homologation, enabling US-engineered vehicles to be approved for specified international markets. This role involves collaboration with the Stellantis engineering team, US TSRC team, and Stellantis global homologation teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
  • 8+ years homologation or environmental certification experience, or similar experience
  • Ability to interpret product planning information and develop conclusions
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills; ability to drive results
  • Broad understanding of vehicle systems
  • Self-starter who is detail oriented and disciplined

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in global environmental and safety regulations
  • Working knowledge of global regulatory homologation activities and certification processes/procedures
  • Master's degree in a Science, Computer, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university

Responsibilities

  • Review vehicle program information to identify and define certification / homologation plans or changes to these plans
  • Review program requirements with regulatory specialists to define specific homologation activity details
  • Review new regulations to identify homologation plan impact
  • Lead or participate in forums to ensure all stakeholders understand and meet required deliverables
  • Escalate items that could impact the ability to meet program milestones
  • Coordinate and provide feedback to vehicle programs regarding homologation / certification impact
