About The Position

The Certification Engineer is crucial for ensuring vehicles meet the company's sales plan by understanding vehicle program plans, developing, communicating, and executing appropriate certification plans. This role involves helping to define certification programs and executing certification deliverables, partnering with TSRC members and other departments like engineering to drive necessary deliverables for environmental certification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
  • 5 + years environmental certification or homologation experience with a broad understanding of vehicle systems or experience in emission testing
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and collaboration skills; ability to drive results
  • Experience reading corporate product bulletins
  • Self-starter who is detail oriented and disciplined

Nice To Haves

  • Emission testing experience
  • Experience in global environmental regulations
  • Working knowledge of global regulatory emissions compliance, testing and certification processes/procedures
  • Master's degree in a Science, Computer, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university
