About The Position

Ford Racing is looking for an enthusiastic, talented professional to join the team as the Vehicle Dynamics Supervisor. The Vehicle Dynamics supervisor directs program-specific vehicle dynamics engineers in establishing development plans, attribute targets, and execution timing to meet all functional objectives, component tuning milestones, and electronic control hardware and software release requirements. Working closely with Vehicle Engineering, Vehicle Integration, Chassis, Powertrain, Controls, NVH, Motorsports, and supplier partners, the supervisor is responsible for driving cross-functional alignment, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring successful delivery of vehicle dynamics objectives throughout the development process. This position requires a strong balance of technical leadership, program management, and people leadership, along with the ability to effectively communicate program status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership. A critical component of this role is developing the next generation of vehicle dynamics talent within Ford Racing. The supervisor will recruit, coach, mentor, and provide growth opportunities for engineers at all experience levels, with a particular emphasis on cultivating early-career and developing engineers through hands-on vehicle development experiences, technical training, and structured mentorship. This leadership is essential to building and sustaining Ford Racing's long-term vehicle dynamics capability and technical excellence. This position requires significant travel to proving grounds, race tracks, off-road development locations, and test facilities throughout North America to support vehicle development, validation, and performance assessment activities. This role is hybrid and requires at least 4 days onsite in Allen Park, MI.
