About The Position

The Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer leads the design and development of components and subsystems that critically affect vehicle dynamics performance and structural loads. The role uses advanced virtual tools and full-vehicle simulation packages to support integration across vehicle dynamics and related disciplines. Engineers may specialize in technical areas such as tire modeling, control system integration, and other simulation-driven areas that influence vehicle behavior. The position emphasizes automation, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), to support efficient, scalable, and repeatable simulation workflows. The role includes multibody dynamics modeling and simulation, vehicle model framework and capability development, and cross-functional collaboration and leadership. It is categorized as hybrid, with the selected candidate expected to report to a specific location at least three times a week or at another frequency set by their manager. The position is not eligible for relocation benefits. GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
