The state supported living centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or who have behavioral problems. The centers provide campus-based direct services and supports at 13 centers located throughout the state. This position is for someone looking for a career filled with purpose. The Vehicle Driver II performs highly complex motor vehicle operations work to support food service department operations for the assigned State Supported Living Center. This position is responsible for assigning delivery routes and tasks to ensure the delivery, storing, and issuing of food and supplies to designated units/areas, in a manner consistent with facility rules and regulations. The completion of work requires use of established methods and/or techniques. This position performs minor vehicle maintenance and requires maintaining forms and records pertaining to vehicle operation. Provides guidance and training to others as the senior-level driver for food service. Works under limited supervision of a Food Service Manager, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
