About The Position

The Make Ready Specialist plays a key support role in ensuring dealership vehicles are prepared, presentable, and ready for customer delivery. This position involves a variety of responsibilities, including cleaning and detailing vehicles, transporting vehicles between lots or service areas, fueling vehicles, and assisting with general dealership needs. The Make Ready Specialist is a flexible “jack of all trades” who helps maintain smooth dealership operations by jumping in wherever needed to support the sales and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Exterior and interior cleaning
• Stain removal
• Maintaining a supply of cleaning products and tools, ordering new supplies as needed
• Transporting vehicles to and from lots, service, gas stations, or other dealership locations
• Assisting with lot organization and vehicle placement
• Ensuring vehicles are fueled and ready for customer delivery or test drives
• Supporting general dealership tasks as assigned
