About The Position

Jim Click Nissan is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who are committed to quality and take pride in making vehicles look their best. As a Vehicle Detailer, you'll play an important role in ensuring every vehicle on the lot meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. From preparing new and pre-owned inventory to delivering a showroom-quality finish, your work directly impacts the customer experience. This is an entry-level role with hands-on experience in an automotive dealership environment, offering opportunities to grow into service, sales, reconditioning, or other automotive career paths. It's a fast-paced, team-oriented workplace at a high-volume dealership with a steady workflow and vehicle inventory, within a supportive culture focused on teamwork and professional development. You will work with a variety of new and pre-owned vehicles every day.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Previous detailing, car wash, or automotive experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Wash, vacuum, clean, and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors to dealership standards
• Polish, wax, and buff vehicles to enhance appearance and protect finishes
• Clean windows, mirrors, wheels, tires, door jambs, and other vehicle surfaces
• Remove stains, odors, dirt, and debris from vehicle interiors
• Prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for showroom display and customer delivery
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and presentation quality prior to display or delivery
• Maintain detailing equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
• Move, park, and stage vehicles as needed throughout dealership property
• Report vehicle damage, maintenance concerns, or safety issues to management
• Follow all dealership safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning products and equipment
