About The Position

Robson Forensic is seeking an ACTAR-certified reconstructionist with at least 5 years of experience in real-world vehicle collision investigations. This role involves investigating vehicle crash incidents, analyzing collision events using comprehensive knowledge of crash reconstruction methods and tools, writing clear and scientifically sound reports, and providing expert testimony. The position offers the opportunity to delve into the 'why' behind incidents, critically assessing decision-making, operational procedures, and the standard of care. You will utilize your training, experience, and critical thinking skills, collaborate with respected experts, continuously learn, and make a tangible difference in litigation.

Requirements

  • ACTAR-certified reconstructionist
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an ABET-accredited college preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience as an ACTAR-certified reconstructionist working real-world vehicle collision investigations.
  • Experienced with scene investigations, event data recorder downloads, scene mapping, and post-collision vehicle inspection.
  • Thorough working knowledge of crash reconstruction, scene investigation, human factors for drivers’ responses, and report-writing.
  • Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, objective evidence for non-technical audiences.
  • Approximately 20% travel for inspections.
  • Clean background screen.
  • Driver’s license and ability to drive.
