About The Position

OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for a Vehicle Check-In Clerk with experience in inventory control and customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with data entry. This is an afternoon shift role, Monday-Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST. The role requires attention to detail for accurate vehicle data entry, reliability as a point of contact, and a commitment to safety, including working in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• A valid Driver's license is required.
• Basic computer and smartphone skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in an outdoor environment with varying weather conditions.
• Experience in inventory control.
• Experience in customer service.
• Prior experience working with data entry.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with OPENLANE’s operations team or in a similar role.
• 1-3 years’ experience in office or general administration.
• Experience with AMS, VTrace, and other OPENLANE systems.
• Bilingual in French/English.

Responsibilities

• Manually enter vehicle information into inventory management systems using a computer and a mobile device.
• Assign inventory stock numbers, open repair orders, and register vehicles to OPENLANE’s platforms.
• Assist with other administrative tasks or tasks related to inventory control, such as removing license plates, printing window stickers, and responding to inquiries from administrative departments.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting dealers with various procedures and requests efficiently and in a timely manner.
