About The Position

Courtesy Automotive Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join their high performing team. This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience working a busy dealership service drive (80–110 repair orders daily). As a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting service drive customers into high-quality vehicle acquisitions for our pre-owned inventory. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the dealership maintains a strong, diverse, and profitable used car pipeline.

Requirements

1–3+ years of automotive dealership experience required, specifically working in or directly with a service drive.
Proven success in sales, customer engagement, or vehicle acquisition roles.
Strong understanding of used vehicle values, appraisals, and market demand.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Professional, confident, and customer-focused demeanor.

Responsibilities

Actively engage service drive customers to assess potential interest in selling or trading their vehicles.
Evaluate customer vehicles for equity position, condition, and suitability for dealership acquisition.
Present clear, compelling acquisition or trade-in offers to customers.
Collaborate daily with Used Car Management to align on inventory needs and appraisal strategy.
Maintain consistent presence in the service drive and build positive rapport with customers and service advisors.
Track daily interactions, opportunities, and acquisition outcomes in CRM.
Support sales team with trade-in opportunities generated through service interactions.
Deliver a high-level customer experience that reflects dealership standards.
