Requirements

  • Adhere to all Intel safety and quality standards
  • Follow ergonomic workstation guidelines
  • Communicate effectively across teams and levels
  • Follow verbal and written instructions accurately
  • Escalate unclear instructions or abnormal results immediately
  • Use provided equipment, tools, and supplies appropriately
  • Wear required PPE, including chemical handling gear
  • Ability to push carts up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Understand tool hazards, PPE usage, and emergency procedures
  • Be familiar with exits, emergency numbers, eyewash, and shower stations
  • Complete SPA reviews and PTP processes
  • Ensure LOTO and COHE are completed at the start of assignments

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor industry is preferred
  • Associate’s degree in a science or technology-related field preferred; military technical training will be considered
  • A minimum of 5 years of overall experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment

Responsibilities

  • Escalate safety and quality concerns in a timely manner
  • Wear appropriate PPE and follow all Intel safety requirements
  • Perform and verify CoHE/LOTO procedures
  • Follow all safety protocols (electrical, chemical, confined-space, subfab, equipment)
  • Maintain awareness of hazards, alarms, and restricted areas
  • Perform prolonged walking as required
  • Operate Diffusion equipment according to requirements
  • Execute start-up, shutdown, pump-down, vent, purge, backfill, leak checks, and recovery procedures
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned tools
  • Conduct inspections, cleaning, component replacements, calibrations, and adjustments
  • Perform helium leak checks, gas delivery checks, and pressure checks
  • Respond to alarms, errors, and abnormal conditions
  • Complete post-maintenance recovery and return tools to production
  • Accurately document maintenance, tool activity, and lot tracking
  • Complete checklists, work orders, and shift handoffs
  • Support parts ordering, returns, labeling, and equipment handling
  • Maintain required training, certifications, and compliance standards
  • Review tool status, priorities, and readiness at the start of shift
  • Execute maintenance tasks and monitor tool performance during shift
  • Document and escalate issues as needed
  • Complete end-of-shift updates and ensure clean, production-ready work areas
  • Support audits, maintain cleanliness, and ensure equipment readiness
  • Assist with tool qualifications and report discrepancies
  • Support equipment recovery, wafer handling, alarms, and documentation
  • Maximize output while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Assist with training and cross-training team members
  • Support team operations, task assignments, and performance monitoring
  • Lead or participate in required meetings
