About The Position
Responsible for developing comprehensive 3D models and detailed designs using Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) tools and methodologies. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in design software, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and construction managers to ensure that designs are accurately represented and that all aspects of the project are properly coordinated.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of Revit and SysQue.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks.
- Good communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant technical experience.
Nice To Haves
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Populate plumbing and mechanical models per contract standards using Revit and SysQue database.
- Perform system clash detection using Navisworks.
- Perform coordination with other trades.
- Communicate with internal team members to gain missing information to complete coordination.
- Interpret and apply system specifications and Plumbing/Mechanical codes.
- Interpret and apply submittal data for equipment, fixtures, and other specialty items to the modeled systems.
- Represent systems during coordination meetings with other trades.
