About The Position

Limbach Facility Services LLC is seeking a VDC Detailer to support the VDC department in creating installation documents and transmitting data for field installers. Requirements

1-2 years of industry-specific experience OR Trade school completion or Associate’s Degree in a related field.
Working knowledge of AutoCad, Revit, and Navisworks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel in particular).
Ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in writing) with diverse audiences.
Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
Capacity to effectively work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to travel occasionally to local job sites.

Responsibilities

Assists in the development of HVAC, Piping, and Plumbing VDC Models.
Performs new project setups/sheet creation/filter creation.
Processes and cleans Revit model exports for 2D CAD backgrounds for use in Autocad.
Executes application site set ups, including Google Drive, BIM 360 products, and company FTP sites.
Imports MAJ files from the Estimating Department into Revit models for pre-population purposes.
Tags and dimension HVAC/Piping/Plumbing drawings for field installers.
Assists with project closeouts, including drawing and file archival.
Prioritizes and encourages safety while executing work tasks, especially when at a construction site.
