About The Position

This is an experienced VDC Coordinator position where the incumbent will translate design intent contract documents or 3D design models of Plumbing, Mechanical and HVAC systems into fabrication and installation detail Building Information Models (BIM’s) utilizing BIM fabrication modelling software.

Requirements

2 or more years of experience with installation or 3D modelling of mechanical or plumbing systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Fabrication CADMEP and Autodesk Navisworks
Knowledge of Autodesk Revit or any other BIM related software is a plus
A working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to be trained in use of the Company-specific applications and software
Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret technical literature/writing and plans
Ability to define problems, assess options and make appropriate recommendations
Ability to distinguish between shades of color
Competence in public speaking/presentations
Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to train and mentor
Good self-management and organizational skills

Good analytical skills and ability to generate creative solutions
Ability to perform well and meet expectations in a fast-paced environment
