About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment. The custodian will perform various cleaning duties, including trash removal, restroom cleaning, and general upkeep of the premises. They will also assist with special projects and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. The company emphasizes internal promotion, team member satisfaction, and long-term employment.

Responsibilities

Picks up trash, empties trash in receptacles, and transports trash to central deposit areas.
Removes gum, spider webs, and spills.
Cleans restrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, counters, and floors.
Replenishes paper products as needed.
Checks and empties trash cans.
Documents and produces work orders for maintenance.
Works on special projects as assigned including carpet extractions and floor work.
Maintains professional demeanor and communication.
Maintains consistent attendance, punctuality, and appearance that contributes to a high level of team performance.
Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
