This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing outreach, education, and prevention programs focused on reducing and responding to domestic violence crimes covered under the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). The role aims to increase public awareness of VAWA services, promote survivor-centered resources, and strengthen partnerships among community agencies and service providers. Responsibilities include making referrals to appropriate community service programs and potentially making home visits to monitor clients' care and condition. Work is reviewed upon completion, with occasional spot checks, and unusual situations are referred to a supervisor.
