About The Position

Responsible for the overall vault operations on assigned shift. This role involves supervising vault personnel, enforcing rules and regulations, maintaining operational and employee records, and managing the vault bankroll. The Vault Supervisor also handles staffing needs, reviews paperwork, verifies deposits, and performs daily drops of kiosks. Additionally, the role requires handling guest disputes, staying knowledgeable about property events, attending meetings, and maintaining confidentiality. The position operates within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual, Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and other applicable regulations, ensuring the security of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe assets.

Requirements

  • Previous Vault Cashier and Main Banker experience a must.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, public relations and communications skills.
  • Knowledgeable in 10 key calculator, computer and coin/currency machine operation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Must meet State Compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check, and submit to random drug testing.
  • Physically capable of remaining on feet for long periods of time.
  • Subject to internal working conditions, including a smoking environment.
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
  • At least one year experience as a Vault Cashier and Vault Main Banker.
  • Must have strong computer skills.
  • Must meet Tribal/State compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all vault personnel on assigned shifts.
  • Understand and enforce all applicable rules and regulations pertaining to the department.
  • Keep Manager informed of shift activity by maintaining operational and employee records.
  • Provide recommendations regarding personnel issues to the Manager.
  • Maintain control of the vault bankroll and other operational records.
  • Assign banks and other job duties to staff on assigned shift.
  • Maintain control of personnel entering and exiting the vault secured areas.
  • Perform vault cashier and main banker duties as needed.
  • Determine staffing needs and find replacements for call-ins or no-shows to ensure all shifts are appropriately covered.
  • Review all vault paperwork on assigned shift.
  • Verify daily Casino deposits.
  • Adhere strictly to all Gaming Regulations.
  • Perform daily drop of all kiosks.
  • Handle Guest Disputes.
  • Maintain knowledge of all events in the property as a whole.
  • Attend and/or facilitate all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Be sensitive to Native American Culture.
  • Operate within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
  • Secure the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
