About The Position
The Vault Clerk / Verification Specialist is responsible for the secure handling, verification, and preparation of serialized pistols within a pistol manufacturing facility. This role ensures customer orders are accurate, complete, and compliant by verifying serial numbers, build configurations, and order documentation prior to shipment. The position plays a critical role in maintaining vault organization, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
- Print and review pistol orders and associated documentation
- Verify serial numbers against sales orders, build records, and inventory systems
- Confirm pistol build correctness, configuration, and order completeness
- Identify and resolve discrepancies related to serial numbers, build details, or order documentation
- Package verified pistol orders according to company and regulatory standards
- Ensure all required components, accessories, and documentation are included
- Prepare orders for handoff to shipping while maintaining chain-of-custody requirements
- Investigate and troubleshoot build, serial, or order discrepancies
- Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, compliance, and shipping teams to resolve issues
- Document corrections and resolutions in applicable systems
- Maintain organization and security of the firearm vault
- Accurately track and move serialized inventory within systems and physical storage
- Assist with cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits of serialized firearms
- Ensure vault operations meet ATF and internal compliance standards
- Follow all firearm handling, safety, and security procedures
- Maintain strict adherence to ATF regulations and company policies
- Protect sensitive inventory and documentation at all times
