About The Position

Vascular Health Partners is seeking motivated Registered Vascular Ultrasound Technologists for their established, growing vascular practice in Latham. This exciting position offers a unique opportunity for growth, development and new insights into the latest techniques in vascular surgery. This is a full time position: Monday through Friday 8 to 4:30. Opportunity to do 4, 10 hour shifts if interested. This position is eligible for up to a $3000 recruitment/retention bonus. Vascular Health Partners is an office-based practice in a non-hospital setting! This is a Monday to Friday position with No Call, No Weekends, and No Holidays! Requirements

Successfully graduated from an accredited vascular ultrasound program or obtain the equivalent vascular experience.
Active certification required by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a registered vascular technologist (RVT) is required.
Must have solid knowledge base of anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics and pathology and how it relates to non-invasive vascular testing.
Experience performing vascular ultrasounds for at least 1 year is required.

Responsibilities

Preparing reports which include test data and a written preliminary interpretation
Examinations including, but not limited to, extracranial cerebrovascular, upper and lower extremity arterial duplex and physiologic testing (PVR), upper and lower venous duplex, aorto-iliac, renal, mesenteric, dialysis access evaluation and preoperative vein mapping.
