About The Position

This position is for a Vascular Ultrasound Tech at a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 865 total staffed beds. The tech will work a varying 5x8 hour shift from 7am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday. Weekend on-call is required one weekend per month (Saturday-Sunday, 8am-6pm), and weekday call is 1-2 times per week (5:30pm-9pm). The daily caseload is 8-10 studies per tech. Floating to sister facilities downtown and potentially West Ashley is required. Travelers are assigned to emergency response teams, which is a consideration during hurricane season (June-November).

Requirements

• 2 years of experience.
• BLS required.
• ARRT (S) or (VS), or ARDMS (Registered Vascular Technologist) (RVT), or CCI (RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist)) certification required.
• Must be within a 60-mile radius for the radius rule.
• All RTO must be included at time of submission.
