As a Vascular Sonography Technologist, you will perform specialized vascular ultrasound examinations that help physicians diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular diseases and conditions. Requirements

  • Graduate of accredited program in appropriate area of specialty as required by position.
  • American Heart Associate (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required; additional requirements specified by position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinations utilizing advanced imaging technology.
  • Produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic studies that support timely clinical decision making.
  • Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals.
  • Provide compassionate care and education to patients throughout the imaging process.
  • Apply sound clinical judgment while evaluating complex vascular findings.
  • Contribute to a department recognized for excellent patient experience scores and exceptional teamwork.
  • Participate in a schedule that is primarily Monday through Friday, with limited call coverage from 4 PM to 11 PM and rotating holiday and weekend responsibilities.
