About The Position

This position is located at 319 S. Manning Blvd. Albany, NY. The Vascular Technologist II is a staff member who performs all examination types offered by the practice. This role indicates that the staff member can work independently at all assigned locations and shifts. The Vascular Technologist II is expected to be able to work as the ultrasound technologist for ablations and other vein procedures.

Requirements

• Education, training, and experience in vascular sonography
• Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and career long learning (e.g., continuing medical education in vascular technology, obtaining higher education, participation in research, etc.)
• Must be eligible to obtain ARDMS certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for image acquisition and report generation

Responsibilities

• Performs all examination types offered by the practice.
• Works independently at all assigned locations and shifts.
• Works as the ultrasound technologist for ablations and other vein procedures.
