About The Position
Sentara Vascular Specialists is hiring a full-time Vascular Lab Technologist (Medical Sonographer) in Hampton, Virginia. The position performs non-invasive vascular testing procedures and writes preliminary interpretations. The technologist also assists physicians in determining appropriate testing based on clinical assessment and symptoms. The posting lists full-time, day-shift hours, Monday through Friday. The role requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) RQI and either Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification. One year of related experience is preferred. The base pay range for full-time employment is $42.29–$62.83 per hour. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonuses. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
Requirements
