About The Position

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Vascular Technologist/Sonographer to work as a float across its Illinois locations. The role supports physicians and clinic teams in providing minimally invasive vein and vascular care. The technologist performs ordered duplex ultrasound examinations and other imaging studies, assists during endovenous laser ablation and microphlebectomy procedures, and contributes to patient evaluations, reporting, equipment maintenance, and efficient clinic operations. The position requires maintaining vascular ultrasound credentials and completing continuing medical education. Compensation is listed as $43–$52 USD, with total compensation based on experience and potentially including base salary, bonuses, and other incentive pay.

Requirements

RVT, RVS, or RPhS certification, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification from the AHA.
Desire to learn and grow in the field.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the physician during endovenous laser ablation and microphlebectomy procedures.
Perform ordered duplex ultrasound examinations and other imaging studies.
Collaborate with clinic staff to maintain efficient patient flow.
Conduct patient evaluations, complete reports, and maintain equipment.
