High Level Vascular Technologist / Sonographer
About The Position
NAVIX is seeking an experienced, High Level Vascular Technologist / Sonographer for a part-time position (1 day/week on Mondays) in Trumbull, CT. The Vascular Technologist job requires the sonographer / technologist to utilize color-flow duplex ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment to produce ultrasound images and related data, which is used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis. Requirements
- Graduated from a CAAHEP Accredited program in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology profession pathways.
- Hold a valid, accrediting body-recognized credential in one or more of the following: Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or Registered Technologist Vascular Sonography [RT(VS)] through American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Able to reliably commute to the Trumbull, CT area.
Responsibilities
- Utilize color-flow duplex ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment to produce ultrasound images and related data.
- Provide data used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis.
