About The Position

This is a full-time Vascular Technologist II position at McLeod Vascular Associates in Florence. The role involves operating ultrasound equipment to perform a wide range of non-invasive vascular studies, including arterial, venous, and physiologic assessments. The technologist will also be involved in maintaining regulatory standards, diagnostic administrative tasks for ultrasound accreditation, scheduling studies, and assisting physicians with report creation.

Requirements

  • Graduate of at least a 12-month Ultrasound Imaging Program, or graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology with on-the-job training in Diagnostic or Vascular Ultrasound.
  • Complete and pass RVT or ARDMS exam within 12 months of employment date.
  • Meet ACR accreditation guidelines as required.
  • High School/GED degree.
  • Am Reg Of Radio Technologists certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform non-invasive arterial, venous, and physiologic vascular studies, including Carotid Studies, Arterial Duplex Studies, Venous Duplex Studies, Transcranial Doppler Studies, Renal Artery Studies, Arterial Physiology, and Vein Mapping.
  • Verify that appropriate regulatory standards are met and perform diagnostic administrative responsibilities to maintain ultrasound accreditation.
  • Assist in scheduling of studies and assist physicians in the creation of ultrasound reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
