About The Position

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging as a Pediatric Sonographer specializing in vascular and general ultrasound studies to ensure accurate patient care. Conduct comprehensive vascular diagnostic procedures using advanced ultrasound techniques to detect peripheral vascular disease and critical obstructions in children. Maintain precise clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) while coordinating findings with the interdisciplinary team for treatment planning. Monitor patient safety and comfort during direct patient care, promptly alerting physicians to any clinical abnormalities or significant physiological changes. Ensure operational excellence by managing specialized ultrasound equipment and adhering to all regulatory compliance standards.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
