About The Position

Perform high-quality vascular diagnostic procedures as a Vascular Sonographer to detect peripheral vascular disease and optimize patient care outcomes. Evaluate patient clinical history to select the most effective diagnostic procedures within standard regulatory and compliance guidelines. Monitor patient comfort and safety during direct patient care, promptly alerting the interdisciplinary team to critical diagnostic abnormalities. Complete accurate clinical documentation and send high-quality images to PACS to support efficient Electronic Health Records management. Maintain medical equipment and clinical supply inventory to ensure an orderly department and seamless vascular ultrasound service delivery.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Cardiographic Tech specializing in Vascular Interpretation credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
